The capacity to enter the llaqta will increase from 3,044 to 4,044 visitors per day after the approval of the proposal by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) and the Ministry of Culture of Cusco. Huayna Picchu Mountain + Circuit 4
This Huayna Picchu ticket changed the itinerary to explore Machu Picchu. Today you cannot get Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu tickets simultaneously. We recommend getting two tickets if you want to climb the mountain and visit the traditional Machu Picchu Trail.

Machu Picchu Mountain + visit 3
Mount Machu Picchu is a new popular hike inside the citadel and the best alternative to Mount Huayna Picchu. The mountain’s altitude is 3,200 m (10,500 feet above sea level). From the belvedere of the hill, one can see the installations, the temples, the squares, and the platforms of the Inca citadel.
One can also see the Huayna Picchu mountain, the Vilcanota river – a snake-shaped river below the citadel – and the Andes mountain’s breathtaking landscapes.
If you have binoculars, you can get a full view of Mount Salkantay, the Inca ruins of Llactapata, and the Santa Teresa hydroelectric power station. Hiking is one of the most rewarding experiences when visiting Machu Picchu.
The Machu Picchu Mountain + Circuit 3 ticket offers two-time slots for hiking the mountain.
There are 400 places available each day. This entrance ticket for Mount Machu Picchu allows you to re-enter the citadel of Machu Picchu by circuit 3.

Mount Huchuypicchu + circuit 4
This mountain is not famous, but it is close to Huayna Picchu mountain, the Huchuy Picchu mountain ticket allows you to visit only Machu Picchu by circuit 4, and you can stay in the citadel for 2 hours. And there are only 200 places available each day and divided into nine timetables. The Huchuy Picchu ticket is a cheaper entrance to the citadel of Machu Picchu.

How to book and buy tickets to Machu Picchu?
Visit the Ministry of Culture website. Please be patient, as the site may take some time to load. You must install Adobe Flash (free download) to view the site. You can change the language to English by clicking on the UK flag on the top right.
Choose a place you want to visit. Above the calendar, you must first select a place to stay before choosing a date.
Here you have to decide if you only want to visit Machu Picchu or if you want to combine the visit with a visit to the museum. The Museo Manuel Chávez Ballon is a small museum, but well worth a visit before visiting Machu Picchu itself.
It houses some nice artifacts, all described in English. The museum is near Aguas Calientes (a town just below Machu Picchu). The next step is to choose a route. This means that you have to decide if, in addition to Machu Picchu (or Machu Picchu and the museum), you will also visit Huayna Picchu and Mount Machu Picchu.
Choose your date. Once you have chosen your route, you can select a day by clicking on the calendar.
Choose the Number of tickets you need. Click the arrows under Number to select the Number of tickets required.
Please note: if you want to buy a CHILD ticket, click on the button at the top (tick for students). Children 8 and over pay the student rate. Children 3 and under are FREE!
Fill in your data. You need to fill in your details exactly as they appear in your passport.
Complete your order. You are now on the last page. A pop-up window may appear with the mention “Read the general conditions of sale.” Enter your email address and verify that all information is correct. Remember that it must match the specified identifier.
When you’re done, click “Generate Reservation.” Several pop-up windows then appear with your booking form. It is important! Please don’t close it, because you haven’t paid for your ticket! Copy the reservation number that appears on the page. Then select the “Payment” tab in the main window at the top. This will take you to a new page.
Pay for your tickets. You must now enter your reservation code on the payment page.
Save and print your tickets. As soon as your payment is complete, print your receipt and tickets and save them to your computer in PDF format.
