Inca Jungle 3 Days to Machu Picchu
In the 3-Day Inca Jungle Trek adventure circuit, on the first day, we ascend hiking the Amazonian Inca trail until we reach the Huacayupana mountain passes; It is a total of 3-4 hours of walking with a moderate to easy level of difficulty; After the walk, we go to the beautiful thermal baths of Cocalmayo to enjoy its natural waters.
On the 2nd day, explore the hiking od Lucmabamba Inca trail with a panoramic view of Machu Picchu from the Llactapata ruins “there is a group decision; if you do not need to go to the Lucmabamba Inca Trail, you can have the day free for the zip line, return to the hot springs, etc.” In the afternoon, we board the train to Aguas Calientes, and on the last day, we visit Machu Picchu.

Cusco – Santa Maria Amazon Inca Trail – Hot Spring – Santa Teresa
At 05 am, we leave Cusco towards the Sacred Valley and then ascend towards the Abra Malaga mountain pass to enter the cloud forest; Before arriving at the town of Santa María, we will observe several plantations of exotic fruits such as orange trees, mandarins, bananas, etc.
We start the trek along the Amazonian Inca Trail of Santa María for 3 hours and 50 minutes; We have a beautiful path between coffee plantations, citrus trees, and an incredible panoramic view from the monkey house and the mountain passes until we reach the community of Huacayupana.
From Huacayupana, the descent around the hiking trail with a spectacular view of the Vilcanota River. At the end of the walk along the road, our tourist vehicle awaits us to go to the town of Santa Teresa; In the afternoon, we go to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo. The waters of Cocalmayo have suitable sulfur, the right temperature, incredible weather, and spectacular panoramic views.

Santa Teresa – Lucmabamba Inca Trail – Aguas Calientes
At 05:30 in the morning, we board a local transport to the Inca Trail of Lucmabamba, “approximately 50 minutes of travel” The Inca Trail of Lucmabamba is one of the incredible trails built in the cloud forest within the buffer zone of the sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
We ascend for about 2 hours and 40 minutes until we reach the Lucmabamba pass. Rounding the mountain pass, we find the beautiful ruins of Llactapata; In Llactapata, we have one of the best panoramic views towards the citadel of Machu Picchu “the photographs are impressive.”
Then we continue descending the mountain for an average of 2 hours until we reach the banks of the Aobamba River and the Hidroeléctrica train station. In the afternoon, we board the train service to reach Machupicchu Pueblo.
Note: It is essential to mention that if the group of visitors needs to stay almost all day in the vicinity of the town of Santa Teresa to zipline between mountains, walk through the hanging wooden bridge or return to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo, if the group this option decides this unanimous decision, means that we no longer go to the Inca trail of Lucmabamba.
In the original itinerary, the Lucmabamba Inca Trail is planned. Still, it is worth mentioning if the group decides on the initial option or the alternative; in any of the options in the afternoon, we board the train service from the Hidroeléctrica train station to get to the town of Aguas Calientes.

What are the age requirements for this package?
A minimum of 10 years old is recommended for any adventure as long as the children have the necessary stamina, patience, and discipline. There are no age restrictions from 16 years of age, assuming that visitors are in average physical condition. For older adults, we suggest the criteria of the person himself, that is if he has the necessary physical resistance and capacity to adapt to heat, etc.
Is any previous training required?
If you do not regularly practice hiking or any other endurance sport, it would not be superfluous to evaluate your physical condition.
