The Best of Private Sacred Valley Tour
The Sacred Valley of the Incas is located between the rims of high mountains over 5,000 meters/14,400 feet above sea level.
The Sacred Valley starts from Pisac ruins in the east and ends at Machu Picchu in the west, with a total length of more than 100 kilometers /63 Miles. In the Inca era, the valley was considered sacred due to its astronomical alignment with the Milky Way, which towered high over the valley at certain times.
Many Sacred Valley highlights in and around the valley offer some of the best Inca ruins in the Cusco region. The vast agricultural terraces of Pisac, the massive fortress of Ollantaytambo, and the experimental deep, circular terraces of Moray continue to name just a few of the best places to visit.

Faqs Private Sacred Valley Tour
The tour seems perfect to me; I know I don’t have time, but is it enough to visit the Sacred Valley?
Of course, they visit each place for 40 minutes to an hour; the places to visit are significant, and you only see the most critical parts, where you will receive information from the guide and have time to take pictures.
I have a train from Ollantaytambo; what time do we get there?
We have several people staying in this location to board their trains; the tour ends here at approximately 3:45 pm.
I arrive in Cusco a day before, do you think I will have problems with the altitude?
Many people arrive the same way as you; on the route, the only higher place is Chinchero, then the other sites are lower than Cusco. Anyway, the guide will always be aware of you.
I am traveling with my family, which includes an eight-year-old child and a 65-year-old adult. Will there be much difficulty for them?
This tour is one of the most comfortable, yes, in every place you visit you walk, it is the only way to see the archaeological sites, if someone has a lot of difficulties walking, I recommend taking a tour in private service, so you can do the excursion at your own pace without following a group.
I prefer not to share my personal information from my passport. Is there any way to book the tour with names only?
We understand your concern, but the data requested is exclusively used to fill in your reservation tickets and generate our taxes. Our privacy policies are stringent, and your information will be kept safe. We also dislike spam.
What happens if I experience a delay and am unable to make the tour?
Unfortunately, all the spaces would be bought, and the tour would be lost; any change or cancellation of the excursion has a penalty. This is rare, but if it does happen, we assure you that we will do everything in our power to address the issue. We recommend reviewing our refund and cancellation policies.
Travel Guide
Pisac
The colorful town of Pisac is renowned as the gateway to the Sacred Valley, situated approximately 32 km from Cusco. With its cobblestone streets and architecture that blends the mestizo and colonial styles, it is a place well worth visiting.
Pisac Market
It will not be significantly different from the markets you will see all over Peru, but they are usually larger. Something striking is that some people still use the barter system; if you’re lucky, you can witness it.
The famous traditional market in Pisac is held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, attracting hundreds of tourists. It is in the town’s Central Plaza, and vendors usually come from several nearby communities to sell their products, including a little bit of everything (fruits, vegetables, clothes, handicrafts, pottery, and more).
If possible, go on Sunday, as this is typically the busiest day at the market. Also, something exciting is that on that day, a traditional Quechua mass is held at 11 am in the main church (San Pedro), and you can see the villagers in their traditional costumes.
Calca
About 20 km from Pisac is the beautiful town of Calca. It is not very visited, but it has a beautiful landscape surrounded by the Pitusiray and Sawasiray snow-capped mountains.
Nearby is the Huchuy Qosqo archeological complex that can be visited from here, as well as the medicinal thermal baths of Machacancha (hot water) and Minasmoqo (bubbling cold mineral water).
Yucay
It is a small town located about 55 km from Cusco. It has a collection of colonial adobe and stucco buildings with high and low-relief decorations.
It was an Inca center of agricultural production thanks to its climate, fertile land, abundant water, and vegetation, especially fruit trees. Today, it is a tranquil place, ideal for admiring the most traditional life of the area.
Urubamba
Urubamba is one of the most important cities in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, as it is situated in the heart of this area, at the foot of the snow-capped Mount Veronica, also known as Mount Chicón.
Precisely because of this and its location, you can see landscapes towards the snow-capped mountains and mountains. It was one of the most important agricultural centers during the Inca Empire, and even today, it remains a crucial cultivation area.
